Factory resetting Aiden can be a helpful troubleshooting step if you're experiencing an issue with your brewer or its connection to the Fellow app.
Before you factory reset
Factory resetting Aiden will erase any custom brew profiles saved to your brewer.
If you have profiles you'd like to keep, make sure to save or share them with yourself in the Fellow app before completing the reset.
How to factory reset Aiden
On your Aiden:
- From the main menu, select Settings.
- Select Maintenance.
- Select Factory Reset.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to confirm the reset.
Once confirmed, Aiden will reset to its factory settings.
Reconnecting Aiden to the Fellow app
After the factory reset, you may need to reconnect Aiden to the Fellow app.
If Aiden still appears in your app:
- Open the Fellow app and select your Aiden.
- Tap the Settings cog in the upper-right corner.
- Select Device Information.
- Select Delete Device and confirm.
- Follow the normal setup process in the Fellow app to reconnect your Aiden to Wi-Fi.
