How do the holidays affect shipping times?

Order processing times

Once orders are placed, we work fast to ensure the product(s) are available and ready to ship. Upon processing, you will receive an email confirming your order! After your order has been picked up by our carrier, you'll receive an additional email with the tracking confirmation. This entire process can take up to 2-3 business days during the holidays due to higher-than-normal order volumes. 

If it's been 3 business days and you've not received any updates yet, please let us know via the CX assistant chat in the bottom right corner of your screen! We'd love to help!

A few things to note about order processing:

  • While we can make no guarantees, placing an order before 11 am PST increases its chances of being shipped the same day. Orders placed after that time are more likely to ship the following day. This also applies to expedited orders.
  • Expedited shipping options like UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air apply to the time the order is in transit; they do NOT expedite processing times. 
    • For example, if you place an order at 9 pm PST (after the 11 am cutoff) with next-day shipping, it will not be delivered the following day. It will be shipped the following morning and will be delivered the day after that.  
  • Our warehouse does not ship on weekends or holidays. If you place an order on the weekend or on Friday, it will more than likely be processed and shipped the following Monday or Tuesday. 

 

Order shipping times

During the holidays, orders may take longer than usual to arrive, and the tracking information might not update as quickly as expected. We completely understand the frustration that comes along with this and are committed to doing everything in our power to help! 

If you've noticed your tracking information hasn't updated or your order is delayed, we'd kindly ask you to wait 7 days before reaching out. It seems like a long amount of time, but we've experienced holiday orders that seem lost for days at a time, only to miraculously show up after a replacement order has been dispatched.
