If you'd like to leave your Series 1 on in between making drinks or pulling shots for a few minutes, that's okay. However, it's good practice to put it to sleep when you're done using it by selecting the "Sleep" option in the main menu. This will prevent the boiler from staying on for unnecessary amounts of time and will prevent excessive power draw.
Also, it's worth noting that the boiler won’t overheat or require flushing—this is one of the reasons we built it with this unique architecture. It’s not like a traditional heat exchanger system.
