Scale calibration is the process of testing a scale to ensure the level of accuracy you require.
Over time, you may notice the accuracy of your readings diminishing with routine use. Calibrating periodically using a 50g ASTM Class 1 calibration weight will ensure you maintain optimal accuracy and precision.
Follow the steps below to calibrate your Tally Pro Precision Scale:
- In Weight mode, press both the Dial and the Timer Button for approximately 3 seconds.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete scale calibration.
- When the screen prompts: “Begin calibration?”, select the desired response by turning the dial clockwise/counterclockwise and then pressing the Dial or the Timer Button to confirm the selection.
- When the screen prompts: “Place 50 g Weight”, place a 50 gram weight at the center of the scale weigh pan.
- The screen will display an animation while the scale is going through calibration.
- Once calibration is complete, the screen will return you to your previous mode.
