We recommend thoroughly rinsing or dry-brushing Shimmy (body and filter) after each use. If you forget and coffee oils build up, soak the Shimmy components in warm, soapy water for 15 minutes before rinsing and drying. We recommend fully hand washing, but the body and filter are top-rack dishwasher safe, the lid and bottom cap are hand-wash only.
