We’re always focused on human-centered design and updating designs for each product’s use case. For Carter, we were looking for a True Taste Ceramic Coating that would ensure the coffee you tasted inside your mug was not influenced by the non-stick coating. That’s why we went with ceramic! For the Clara French Press, we are designing with coffee grinds in mind. We therefore wanted a non-stick coating that’s ideal for cleanability and is a bit more robust. Clara’s non-stick coating will also not influence the taste of your coffee.
