However, all of our kettles are made with high-grade 304 stainless steel. The matte-painted kettles are coated in an FDA, food-safe, high-temperature paint baked onto stainless steel. The mirror finish of the polished steel and copper versions is a PVD coating over the stainless steel.
Whether metal or silicone, all our lids are BPA-free, FDA food-safe, polypropylene plastic.
