Help, I'm not receiving Fellow Drops texts or notifications!

We know all too well how frustrating it can be to not be able to get fresh coffee! If you've stopped receiving Drops texts recently, we recommend trying the steps below as initial troubleshooting. They've been helpful for others and just might fix things!

  1. Text START to 844-920-3767. This will ensure you are subscribed to the program and opted in at the network level (in case you've accidentally texted STOP in the past).
  2. If you receive a welcome message to the Drops program after texting start that a good indication you may receive messages in the future. Be sure to save the contact card that is sent along with the welcome message.
  3. If still not working, ensure MMS messages are enabled on their device. Settings → Messages → SMS/MMS section → Enable MMS Messaging.
  4. If still not working, contact your carrier to ensure you current plan supports MMS texting and it’s enabled on your account.

Special Note for Google Fi users: Google Fi has an anti-spam filter that blocks messages when too many messages are sent from a single phone number - even if the messaging is legitimate and the recipient has opted-in to receive the messages. Unfortunately, this filter has been known to block Fellow Drop messages and prevent our subscribers from receiving our weekly coffee drops. You can open a ticket w/ Google Fi to request the rate-limit filter be removed for the number 844-920-3767 so you can receive our weekly drops.
