While Tally Pro can be used for weighing out espresso grinds in your portafilter, we recommend against using Tally directly in your espresso machine’s drip tray. This is because Tally is water resistant, not waterproof so it’s important to ensure water doesn’t get into the scale’s exposed USB-C port.
